Game Insight, the developer who created Airport City and The Tribez, is in
deep trouble. They are further engaging in desktop gaming, but the company is already deep within financial messes, and legal battles are on the horizon.

True to their business model, the company released PC versions of their successful mobile games in 2021, looking to secure their position in the cross-platform gaming world. But then disaster after disaster hit by 2022, their Russian division shut down because of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, which also resulted in 142 million rubles worth of debt.
Then came the final blow. 2023 was a disastrous year, a Moscow court froze the accounts of ex-top managers and the head office in Lithuania was ordered to pay out 2 million euro worth of debt.
Lawsuits showed up by the dozens, employees started to demand payment for services that had been rendered, and the company began to tumble down at high speed. However, not all hope is lost. To Gamers Insight’s benefit, they still have Europe and North America where they enjoy good support from players.
The company is implementing new strategies to monetize their content better. The cash grab is in the form of premium content and in-app purchases.
Analysts have suggested that if Game Insight plans on returning back to the top, they will need to act quickly to implement new innovations, though with all the competition and legal issues
there is the always present question, will they recover from this?
